An Island of Hope
Our aim on An Island of Hope is to:

Provide a safe and secure environment to detox from drugs and alcohol.
To enable people to turn their lives around through Christian Teaching and Counselling.
In the early stages of recovery we will provide life saving resources.
To work closely with other Agencies who are in agreement with our aims and methods.

Some Background
Approaching the Island of Hope
1992 Streetwise was begun in the East End of London. St George's Church of England found themselves surrounded by people suffering from the effects of drugs.
They did something about it!
Streetwise was set up in order to help those who suffered through taking drugs and those who suffered because others took them.
