ABOUT BODY POSITIVE (GRIMSBY)
Body Positive is an HIV charity that offers services to people who are infected or affected. We work to educate people in schools,the public, professionals and any other members of the community about HIV/Hepatitis C - the risks, and to dispel the myths surrounding these conditions.
Mission Statement:
"We aim to support people who are infected/affected by HIV/Blood Borne Viruses, their partners, families, friends and carers".
Body Positive has been established since 1991.
It is an independent voluntary organisation that has a volunteer and service-user membership as well as one paid part-time worker. The services we offer include:
