Barley Break Greetings from Barley Break. If you fancy some folk dancing, then come to the BLACKSMITH'S ARMS at ROTHWELL AT 8.00PM ON TUESDAY MAY 18TH 2010. Come and dance or play or call a dance. Or, just come! See you there! Barley Break are not practising at the moment, but last summer, some of the former members of Barley Break visited Germany, to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Spiel-und-Tanzkreis, Seelze, near Hanover. We enjoyed the hospitality of the German team and played music, Ruth, Joy and Chloe sang some songs and Ruth did a clog dance.Dave and Chris danced some Morris jigs, to the accompaniment of John on melodeon and Joy on accordion.
